“Project Smile” Pickron Orthodontic Care |
|
Pickron Orthodontic Care proudly supports The Sport of Giving, Inc. through Project Smile. The program, created by Dr. Robert Pickron, turns a patient’s frustration of losing or breaking a retainer into a positive experience. How does the program work? When a patient of Pickron Orthodontic Care (POC) loses or breaks a retainer, they simply write a tax-deductible check for the replacement retainer to one of five Georgia charities instead of paying POC. Then Pickron replaces the retainer at no charge and matches the patient’s dollar for dollar contribution to the charity. In the past two and a half years, Pickron Orthodontic Care and its patients have raised over $95,000 for participating charities.
Pictured are Project Smile representatives from three of the benefiting charities, from left, Georgia Center for Children Development Director Lisa Dabney of Atlanta/Fulton, Prevent Child Abuse Georgia CEO Doug Middleton of Roswell, VolleyFest board of director’s secretary Kristen Sapp of Duluth, along with Pickron Orthodontic Care owner and founder Dr. Robert Pickron of Duluth. Other participating charities are Project Open Hand and Rainbow Village.
Pickron Orthodontic Care operates 24 offices in metro Atlanta and offers a lifetime guarantee. For more information, visit www.pickron.com or call 770-448-8882. |
