RunFest was established in 2007 to offer families the opportunity to participate in a competitive 5K or relaxed 1 mile Fun Run in their local community. The River Club hosted the inaugural RunFest in 2007 with over 60 participants. Each participant receives a RunFest tee shirt and the opportunity to win prizes. Music, food and refreshments are available post race.
The River Club is hosting The Sport of Giving 2nd Annual RunFest on Saturday, May 10, 2008 @ 9 AM. Music, Food, Prizes, T-Shirts and more! Come share the fun with your family and friends and help raise money for the fight against breast cancer in your local community. 5k or 1-mile option, walk or run.... strollers welcome. Registration forms are available at The River Club tennis and fitness center. Country Club of the South is hosting The Sport of Giving’s RunFest for the first time on April 20 encouraging families and friends of their community to raise funds through pledges and donations while participating in non-competitive run/walk event.
