In 2006, the lady golfers from TPC at Sugarloaf decided to join their VolleyFest tennis sisters to create more energy and support around breast cancer care and prevention in their community. Twenty-four women came together for a ladies golf tournament and SwingFest was born!
In 2008, TPC at Sugarloaf will host 48 participants in its third annual event.
The River Club will host 20 women in its inaugural SwingFest.
We invite other clubs to join this unique golf tournament supporting The Sport of Giving benefactors. SwingFest is a Second Chance Golf Tournament symbolizing the "second chance" that women are given with regular mammograms and the gift of early detection. We appreciate our passionate players and loyal sponsors. SwingFest...supports the efforts of The Sport of Giving...with a different kind of Swing! |
